Common questions

Who should attend the Lightbridge Labs Responsible AI Governance training?
This program is designed for compliance officers, legal counsel, risk managers, internal auditors, data protection officers, and anyone responsible for governing AI systems within their organization. No technical AI background is required.
What governance frameworks does this training cover?
The training covers ISO 42001 (AI Management Systems), NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the EU AI Act, and emerging state-level AI regulations in the US. Participants learn how these frameworks interact and how to build a governance program that satisfies multiple requirements.
Does this training prepare participants for ISO 42001 certification?
This training provides a solid foundation for understanding ISO 42001 requirements. For organizations pursuing certification, Lightbridge Labs offers a separate ISO 42001 readiness consulting engagement that includes gap analysis, policy development, and audit preparation. The training and consulting complement each other.
What practical tools do participants receive?
Participants receive AI risk assessment templates, governance policy templates, bias audit checklists, regulatory mapping worksheets, incident response plan templates, and a governance maturity self-assessment tool. All materials are immediately applicable.
How does this training address AI bias?
The training includes a dedicated module on bias detection and mitigation. Participants learn to identify common sources of AI bias, understand quantitative fairness metrics, evaluate AI systems for disparate impact, and design mitigation strategies. Real-world case studies illustrate consequences and remediation approaches.
Can this training be combined with the AI Literacy for Business Leaders program?
Yes. Many organizations schedule both programs in sequence: AI Literacy for Business Leaders on day one for the executive team, followed by Responsible AI Governance on day two for the compliance and legal teams. This builds aligned understanding across leadership and governance functions.
